40th Annual Competition Specialties Mega Show

Competition Specialties, Inc. is the West's largest wholesale distributor specializing in high performance parts and off-road accessories. The cornerstone of CSI's business is aggressive pricing and unmatched service. Unlike other distributors, CSI strives to support the two-step distribution system by NOT selling mail order and NOT owning retail stores. CSI does NOT compete with their wholesale customers.

The 40th annual Competition Specialties Mega Show was held at their warehouse in Auburn, WA on February 25th and 26th.  Jobber attendance was very good and there were lots of prizes and cash money given away.  Covercraft participated with a 10x10 booth displaying not only their full line of Crafted2Fit custom car covers and SeatSavers but also the their newest item, the SeatHeater.

The Leader in Crafted2Fit™ Protection Since 1965.

For nearly 50 years Covercraft

has manufactured premium quality exterior and interior protection products for automotive enthusiasts, building a reputation for quality, durability and design. Started in 1965 by Bob Lichtmann in a small 2-man shop in Southern California, Covercraft pioneered the market for manufacturing custom-patterned car covers for street rods, the import sports car market and aftermarket automotive parts suppliers. Today the company is the world’s largest manufacturer of custom-patterned vehicle covers. Our library of over 80,000 patterns still grows daily as we constantly add new applications. Our product line has expanded greatly over the years and now includes seat protectors, front-end masks (bras), dash covers, floor mats, tailgate nets, tire covers, window heat shields, canine travel items and other specialty protection and storage products. Headquartered in Oklahoma, we have additional manufacturing facilities in Texas, Mexico and Australia, plus design centers located in Oklahoma, California, Arizona and Ohio. The Covercraft Team has grown to over 400 dedicated employees, certified to both ISO/TS16949:2009, a worldwide quality system standard, and ISO 14001, an environmental quality program.

Still family-owned, Marty Lichtmann, Covercraft’s COO, first became involved in the business at the early age of 11, making fabric swatch-sets at the dining room table, before apprenticing in every department and learning firsthand the importance of quality and teamwork. Many of our employees have been with us for nearly two decades…some even longer…and share Covercraft’s emphasis on family, recruiting relatives and friends who have also chosen to join our Team.
Marty’s mission is to continue leading the Covercraft Team, maintaining the highest standards, utilizing the finest materials and remaining on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology ---putting “Covercraftsmanship” into every product we make!
